I am beginning a new weekly feature here called Figma Fridays, where I will call out a recently published piece of content focusing on Figma. We will kick this off with the piece from the **UX Collective** called [Make your Figma components work harder](https://uxdesign.cc/make-your-figma-components-work-harder-6d7e0baf96e8?ref=design-bytes.com). 

This piece does an excellent job of highlighting many of the best practices for creating Figma design system components that I agree with. Kudos to Allie Paschal who authored this excellent piece
